About This Project

This major painting was developed from a water color painted on site, the reward for a long climb up to the to the top of  Mount Washington. The atmospheric perspective shown in the mountain range’s descending shades of blue, is echoed in the the abstract stripes above. The painting was inspired by the awesome spatial beauty of the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
